Every controlled document in one register

  • Number, title, type, owner, process and status; the next number given for you.
  • A file per version, earlier versions kept read-only for as long as the type says.
  • Periodic reviews reminded 60 days ahead; "reviewed, no change" signed.

Change, review, approve

  • Every change with its reason, often a corrective action from CapaMakkal.
  • Reviewed by the people you choose, approved and signed by the function that approved it first.
  • A new version asks everyone who must read it to read it again.

Work instructions as steps

  • A photo, a few words, a key point or safety note, a value to record, step by step.
  • In our prototype: steps drafted by AI from a phone video, for a person to check.
  • Translations made by AI and checked by someone who speaks the language.

At the stations

  • A QR label per station that never needs replacing: it always opens the current version.
  • Printed copies listed by number and place, so a new version tells you which to swap.
  • Read and understood with a name and PIN, on a shared tablet or a phone.

After the screw problem

Instruction rev 4 is approved. Every station has it by Friday.

  1. ChangeAnna changes WI-202 for the corrective action: a length gauge and an hourly torque check.
  2. ApproveThe production manager approves it; the two printed copies are listed to replace.
  3. ReadThe operators on Line 2 read rev 4 at the station and confirm with their PIN.
